EMOTIONS AND SKIN

The connection between skin and mind is completely related, even with scientific evidence in psychodermatology.
The skin is an organ linked to emotions: redness when you feel angry or embarrassed, paleness when you feel fatigued or sick, sweating or itching among others, as consequences of somatic activation.
But what happens when there are negative emotions like stress or depression? There is a hormonal relapse that promotes inflammation and decreased blood flow to the skin, irritating cutaneous nerves and increasing allergic reactions.
The skin calls on the immune system to fight through neurotransmitters, neuropeptides, hormones, and modulators such as substance P, cortisol, adrenaline, serotonin, and histamine, dysregulating the immune response and causing inflammation like rosacea, acne, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
Triggering a vicious cycle, natural moisturizing factors decrease and skin repair processes are delayed.
That's why my call is to manage and take action on emotional intelligence, as the power of our emotions and mind is incredible. I know it's not easy, but it negatively affects our quality of life, losing confidence and self-esteem.
As it is outside, it is inside, and vice versa. We directly depend on the balance between your body and mind. This automatically changes your energy, and therefore if your emotions are positive, it will be reflected on the outside.
My approach is to heal and treat the root cause, not just your symptoms. From what you think, your habits, and what you eat, you can heal your skin naturally. Your body has that power.
Radiant skin, calm mind, and happy heart.
