Nutrition Truths Everyone Should Know

Without making this too long, I want to mention some truths that I'd like you to consider when starting healthy habits or changes, so you don't make some mistakes that we once thought were correct.
Women Are Cyclical
Unlike men, we have a cycle of approximately 28 days, which is why our energy changes week to week. We can't expect to have the same mood, energy, or hunger every day. Allow yourself to know yourself.
If You're Going to Consume Dairy
Prefer whole or goat dairy. The industry processes skim milk, removing the fat, but adding unnecessary ingredients, distancing it from its matrix.
If You Have High Triglycerides
You don't have to limit fats. High triglycerides are associated with high consumption of glucose and fructose. Limiting fats won't help reduce them.
Fats Are Not Your Enemies
For a long time, it's been believed that fats are to blame for not being able to reach your ideal weight, but today we know that healthy fats are anti-inflammatory, support our hormones, strengthen our immune system, and provide prolonged satiety.
Intermittent Fasting Is Not Good for Everyone
Yes, fasting is an ancestral super powerful practice to optimize health, but it's also a stressor. If you have amenorrhea or any inflammation in your body, you'll add more stress and inflammation. The biological need is 12 nighttime hours, which will be more than enough to have benefits. Evaluate other factors if you want to do more.
Stress Causes Inflammation
Inflammation is not just about eating poorly. Today we know that elevated cortisol, which is the stress hormone, is the enemy of good digestion and that causes other symptoms at a general level. Don't neglect your mental health.
I hope this helps and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
With love, Dani.
